The Apollon is a 38 rooms family hotel, build by the grandfather, develop by the son and his family and run now by Irini the daughter.
There is in front of the hotel a large, pleasant lawn leading to the beach with a bar and restaurant. It is very nice area for children who can play on their own.
To walk bare feet from your room to the beach for a morning swim, is one of the pleasure of the day.
You can walk to the village -passing by the 700 years Bc ancient theatre- in 20mn or 10mn with one of our bicycle.
You can even go to the harbor with our kayak (20mn).
The area is called Argolida, it has a beautiful landscape and the richest area for archaeological sites in Greece! You will be flying over few of them.
The valley where you’ll stay is surrounded by orange groves; you’ll be able to pick up oranges on your walks
– the best you ever taste!
The village has been developed but not spoiled, its income comes mainly from orange and olives oil. It was an important town 500 years B.C, and then most of it sank under the sea.
The ruins are in surprising good conditions, they are visible from the air before landing at the hotel.
The food has quite a reputation among our customer and the prices are very reasonable for freshly prepared meal.
(About 15 euro/ persons).
You can eat at the hotel, at a tavern 5mn walk away, or at the village. We know well the locals, so we can -if you like- organize a meal for your group (Local specialties, vegan, ect).
We usually go to eat together with you, with the minibus few times per week.
